Default 190 HP Mercruiser 3.7 and Alpha 1

I've decided to go ahead and convert my 22' Grady to a bracketed outboard. So, the 190 HP Mercruiser 3.7 power package that's in it now has to go. I would prefer to sell this stuff as a complete package, or at least in big pieces, but I will consider parting it out if I don't get any interest. Anyway, here's what I got...

Running Mercruiser 190/3.7 and Alpha 1 drive combo out of my 1986 Grady White 227. 4 barrel carb, fresh water cooled, 4" heat exchanger. Includes transom plate and power trim pump.

I bought the rig in April (with a bad fuel tank) and have never put it in the water. As I started going through the boat while waiting on the new tank, I discovered the following issues with the engine (discussed in more detail here):

1. Fuel pump leaks
2. Rotor hits the distributor cap (should be an easy fix w/ a shim)
3. 150 psi give or take on cylinders 1-3, 90 psi on cylinder 4.

The previous owner told me he picked up some seaweed a few years ago. His insurance company paid to have his mechanic replace a bunch of stuff, but he couldn't recall what. I suspect the low(er) compression on cylinder 4 could be leftovers from that overheat.

I have only run the engine on a hose in the driveway. It idles very well and goes in and out of gear smoothly. I would be happy to start it up again for anyone interested.

Looking for fair offers. I am going to start pulling things out of the boat later this month. A quick sale on everything will probably get someone a good deal so I don't have to store stuff. I'll be happy to take inquiries through the forum, or the email and cell (call or text) below.

Thanks.

Thought I had it sold, but the buyer backed out. Going to go ahead and winterize it this coming weekend.

Since I've really only had on person express an interest in the entire package, I will now consider offers on parts.

The carb and intake have been promised to twhrider2 so it's no longer a "complete" motor. If you're interested in what's left I would encourage you to come check it out and make an offer. I honestly don't know what a fair price would be.

I won't be pulling it out for a few more weeks so I can still run it on the hose, but let me know soon as I was going to winterized it this weekend.
