Default What happened with that super fast V ?

The guy posted a video of it - an IO reportedly doing around 65 mph or so.

It was porposing a bit, I assume didn't have trim tabs or maybe trimmed up a little high.

Anyway, it was crazy fast. I liked it. Would be cool to out run most of the new center consoles with twin outboards - with a V 20 or 21.

I figure 400 hp should do it....... here I go again, talking about a nice easy cruiser being converted to a speed boat.

0-60mph run

Complete with fuel injection

Its now simply a fishing boat on Lake Erie, though it surprises allot of *fast* boats coming out of the bay when they think they can get in front of it. Rarely is it smooth enough there to run her full tilt.

We where on the lake over the weekend, and coming out of the dock, there was a cigar boat, with two bravo 1 30 pitch props hangin off of it. I struck up a conversation, and he did everything but call me a liar about the boat......then he walked over, and his mouth dropped. Oh, what a feeling!!

Hey ridge! Sorry we didnt get to hook up in Florida. Ill make it back down there again one of these days, right now just living life with my new job, new woman, and a house with a swimming pool..... and building cars. Just finished up a snaughty 91 thunderbird supercoupe, running 15 pounds of boost, menthanol and NOS, with a 6spd

Now tackling the 1965 Mustang fastback, which I think is going to get a GM LS7 in it.

Not sure how I went from *vagabond* lifestyle living in a van, to all that in under a year......LOLOL But hey, I am not *****ing.....:D
