Default Great day for more Sea bass!!

Today was great! Meet CB, Kenny, my son, and I, at my house 8am headed to the ramp and off we went!
Was nice quite wind, CB drove the boat we got over to the same area as the last time i was out. but nothing? We drifted a bit then anchored and just a pick here and there? So I started it up and drove to a spot we fished last year, and bam, we got fish! We fished late for us as most of the time we done noon to 1pm but today had to be near 3pm.
We blive the water that has been coming in boat is from scuppers and the dam bigshrimp made for me is allowing water to th bildge. then 4 pumps in boat two not plumbed up yet and two not working? My son got in thee and put hose from old pump to one of the new ones, and wired it up and we were good!

so here are a few pic's of are day

pretty ruff on the way out!

Son and Kenny enjoying the ride out

CB was the pilot for the day

and me with the big guy of the day, 5 pounds!

the total take was 65# bass 65# scup 130# total

Boat has a few issues to get done, but useable as is! Thanks guys for a great day!!

I was by the maratime acadamy between 6 and 8 am, due to grandkids B-day parties I only had a very short window. If I had more time I would have gone out for the black bass, it was a beautiful out there. I did catch a couple stripers, but they were below size limit.

What do you do with the scup?

MJ whats yalls size, creel and season limits up there?

We are currently getting raped by your southern neighbors SAFMC......
They say we have overfished them so its a 5mth season subject to early closure with a creel of 5 and size of 12"

Funny thing is you can catch a 4-man limit in a hour with a short to keeper ratio of 4:1.

THIS is obviously POOR science.......
