Default Whew!!...

Now I know why they call it THE BOTTOM!!...that's where it is on the list of my favorite things about a BOAT!!...

This is what it looked like the other day when it came off the trailer...

Smurf City...

And after two coats, she's startin' to kook a little better...

I used the Frog tape...and true to its advertising, got a very clean line...

Got new boot stripes still in the package, so little by little...

...she's comin' along...

and since new paint and off the trailer, optimum time to RE bunk...cut a new pair on the proper angle, so they're ready for new carpet and replace the old ones...boat = never ending story...

Makes all the difference in world as far as how she looks. I just told my wife this past weekend when she told me I sure was spending alot of time detailing the boat: "the difference between owning an old p.o.s. boat and a classic is this work right here!"

Purely ingenious to paint the bottom the color "algae"!

Looks great!

Even bring her a water bottle, eh??

Rob I used the cheepest stuff I could find...West Marine Bottom Shield...$129/gal...non ablative...the only reason she got paint is cosmetic...she'll be on the trailer unless in use...

Yer at Wylie...run on in to west marine I think over on S Blvd...call and see if they got what you want on the shelf first...if they have to order, there's no shipping if you pick up at the store...Overton's is across the street from West...I don't know if Bass Pro in Concord has stripes or not...
