Default Wellcraft 18 Sport CC salmon fishing in Baltic Sea Europe

Hi all,

greetings from old Europe!
This year I was first time salmon trolling with my both best friends in may.
Danish island Bornholm located in the baltic sea.
We where out 5 days and caught 12 atlantic salmon between 3 and 14 kg.

Kind regards,
Joachim

Great looking fish....I'm sure it was a memorable trip. I love how it doesnt matter where in the world you are it all looks the same when you are on the water.

Welcome, Joachim...NICE fish over there!!...good job catching them up!!...I like the double rod set-up on the downrigger...that'll get them!!...

How about some more pictures of your boat in the General section of this forum...would like to see how you set up the boat over there...also...cannot make out what motor you have on your 18...w/fuel cost over there, i know it's fuel-efficient...

Great post!!..

Hi All,

thanks a lot for your comments!
I will post some photos if it is possible, but do not know how to do in general...
My OB is a 2 stoke Tohatsu 115HP, direct injection technique, more or less same as Mercury Optimx.
It runs great, consumpion is appox 0,8l/mile.
I bought the Wellcraft with a 150 Black Max wich needs a lot of fuel...

tight lines,
Joachim
