Default Well. We made it.....

we're just getting the last bands of wind and rain now. got some insane rain last night through this morning. the rain let up around 9:30am and the wind was steady at a good 40 or so mph, with some gusts to around 60. when my wife opened the front door to take a looksee, a gust of wind lifted her nightie up. (with a little help, or course).
the basement was still drying out from a heavy rain 2 weeks back so i just set the pump and it's still going as i write this. (with alot less flow).
about noon we all took a walk to the boardwalk (3 blocks south) and there was some damage, as anyone who watched any of the newscasts saw. they also sesationalized it pretty good. we've had rougher storms than this one. all that crap you saw on weather channel and such was all bullsh!t.
yes, there are some trees down and a sh!tload of debris and some flooding but this aint more than we can handle.
hell, i live in STRONG BEACH, STRONG ISLAND!
hope all are safe and fared as well.
regards.

Charlie, I was most afraid for you, cause of your proximity to the big waters, Glad you are ok and your home fared well.
