Default T&P for CB

CB is very quite about all thats going wrong right now but I am letting the cat out of the bag!

He had Cancer again this summer and after all the treatments he seems to be fine for now! He had his last radiation in July.

At 9:30 this morning he reported to the Hospital for a complete knee replacement and as far as i know is still under the knife as I am typing. When I know more I will post it!!

Get Well Soon Buddy!!!

Absolutely, best of luck CB. You don't have to be old to fight the big C. Ask me how I know...
Best wishes on a speedy recovery for you and MJ.

Well............since you couldn't keep your trap shut, I'm going to make you look like you don't know what you're talking about.

Actually what MJ says is true. And I was scheduled for a full knee replacement today. There I was in the hospital jonnie on the table and they called the surgery off at the last minute. Seems I have some sort of infection that they found last week. Had me on anti-biotics and all, but the orthopedic doctor was not comfortable going forward with the surgery at this time. He didn't feel I was a high risk, but still at risk of the knee getting an infection and ultimately loosing the whole knee further down the road.
So, I will still be having the surgery but won't be for a couple more weeks now.
I appreciate the thoughts though MJ. (I just got off the phone with MJ and he said I made him look like an azz. Mission accomplished. )

Thanks RR. I know all too well. Been to this rodeo before. This past spring they diagnosed me with testicular cancer. They removed one nut and I had radiation treatments very day for six weeks. I'm done with that now so they gave n=me the okay to proceed with the knee surgery.
A couple more weeks of pain. I'm home collecting disability but the worst part is, I haven't been able to get out fishing for at least five weeks now. Looks like my season is over.

Ya'll sure do seem to be going thru a lot. Hang in there guys.

My dad (63) was diagnosed with stage II lung cancer in April. In May they removed the middle right lobe of his lung. Checked all the lymph nodes in and around and nothing spread. They didn't even do chemo or radiation. He's been back to normal for 3 - 4 months now. He was pissed when doc said he could go back to work. I'm just glad mom made him go have that pesky cough checked out. Cough was caused by a fist sized malignant tumor!

Praying for you CB and you too MJ.

Clean? What's to clean? My boat has been a trailer queen for almost six weeks now. I'm going to cover it for the winter. My daughters boyfriend helped cover the swimming poll last week and he said he'd cover the boat this week.
Why not. I'm done for this year anyways.
