Default Possible 1980 V20

Newbie here just wanting to say hello and how much I have been enjoying this site in the last few days. Had my heart set on getting a CC at some point, but a friend in the neighborhood showed me his 1980 V20 a few weeks ago and it really caught my eye, love the Wellcraft lines. Boat is for sale and I'm trying to learn what I can before making a decision. This style boat should be perfect for my intended use and not(hopefully) break the bank. I also see there are several Piedmont NC members here that maybe I could lean on for info/advise, I live by Lake Reese in Asheboro.Til later , Ken

Welcome. There are alot of knowledgeable people on here (myself not included), and there's probably not too much that you can't get answered. Do you have any pictures? These will help since nobody knows what you are looking at without them.

Hello and welcome. If you really want a CC (Center Console) just remember that the V20 comes in that flavor also. You just need to look for them...

You wont be dissapointed....if you are going to buy and older boat its nice to get one that at least has a following of sorts....I guarantee if you get it , every time you go out somebody will come up to you and say...."I used to have one of those.....wish I never sold it"....

I agree - be sure the hull and transom are solid - check for water intrusion.
