Bought my CC last year, it came all black with some ugly stripes...I covered some last year and after looking at Reels boat I will be copying his color scheme when the weather warms just a bit.... I really love the black hull with white topside and bottom...

Yeah...I'm not wild about the look of dark colors above the rub rail....but what other peeps do w/their boats ain't up to me...it's just that someone who paints their boat a dark color topsides and then sits on it in July or August is probably gonna burn their @$$!!...

Thanks for the pix. I'm thinking White above the rub rail and a double white stripe at the water line curve. I use black bottom paint now but maybe switch to aqua. I saw a Bertram 31 with that scheme and it looked awesome.

My Mako I just sold was dark, navy blue....looked almost black in the sun. I used green bottom paint and went with a single, wide white boot stripe

one bad thing with dark hulls you can't see them on water and hard to spot if in need of help and others won't see you coming and may run out in front of you.

YUP!!...that's one of the big things I LOVED about that dark sided 21!!...a typical all white striper boat can be seen on a lake from a considerable distance...old blue-sides wasn't so easily spotted on a good striper hole...the Air Force calls it STEALTH...
