I've got no real comparison for you (being I'm a 2 smoker) but this what I get with mine with a 14x19ss prop. Yours is much better.

			Idle 800rpm - 4mph - 3.38mpg 3900rpm - 30mph - 2.71mpg 4200rpm - 37mph - 2.63mpg WOT 5100rpm - 44mph - 2.32mpg I really need to put the other prop I've got on it to bring the rpm's up. Just too lazy.

Took ours out for first time on Saturday. I agree it does push it great. We got 46 mph (gps) without stretching the rpms out. I will play around with it a bit more this weekend.

			 Quote:

tsu gets 44 MPH @ 5100 RPM using 2.32 MPG ssir gets 42 MPH @ 6000 RPM using 2.4 MPG So Tsubaki is going 2 mph faster while using less gas and less rpm (wear and tear) on his engine. Ssiredfish, if it were me I'd put a 19P on your engine and give it another shot. I think you would definately benefit from the added pitch.

It would be a better comparison if tsub were running the 17 pitch prop but looks to me like ssir is getting around 4 mpg at cruise while tsub is getting around about 2.7 mpg.
