Hatch repair

The hatch over the fuel tank in my cc is shot. The top skin is fine and I am going to be able to save that. However, I have to cut the rotten old core out and replace it. What fiberglass cloth should I use for this and does anyone have any good (cheap) websites to order said cloth from.
