Attached a pic of the problem. Was running in today and the motor just cut out, after an hour of random starts, stalls, dead batteries, etc I noticed the timing wheel was toast. Not sure how that happened but I am sure this may explain some of the other idle issues and rough start problems I was having.
Anyway, I have the replacement part, but no NOTHING about timing and the OIS system. Can I just slap on the new wheel and be good to go? Just match up where it was with the new one? Any help would be appreciated as I am in the dark here. Thanks. -Svence

It is keyed, only one way to install.
Put the new one on and see how it runs.

That's what I was hoping for. Going to pop out the remnants of the old one tonight and swap in the new one. We'll see what happens. I am just hoping it didn't screw up the timing light/eye while it was spinning around all busted up.

Well I replaced the timing wheel and she runs a hell of a lot better, go figure ;)
I am still having an issue with fuel delivery, under hard acceleration she bogs before hauling ***, and if I really hammer it down (idle to WOT fast) she sometimes stalls out. I am thinking it is either the primer ball getting jammed up or the fuel pump struggling to keep up. Any other thoughts? -Svence

Look real close at the glued in balls in the bowls of the carbs , we had a problem with two of them leaking.

I will take a look. How did you spot the leak in the first place? Was it just dripping while in use?

I honestly don't remember if it was while priming the bubble or after it had leaked down the side of the motor.

I don't think I have any leaks as the ball gets hard as a rock once the carbs fill up, but you never know. I will be checking it this week.
Thanks. -Svence
