Default V20 Site Problem - NOT!

So the last 4 or so days I've not been able to get into the V20 forum. When I'd click it would automatically begin a download, save/cancel prompt for index.php. I figured MJ had been cuddling under his blanky with the 225 out in the man cave or something and had let the site go down.....

Turns out the first part was dead on but not the last.

So after having enough of this I decided to dig in and googled it. Saw where some fella in 2004 had the problem. He wrote a whole lotta fancy computer words but what it came down to was he cleared his cache and problem solved. So I did Tools/Internet Options/Delete Files (check delete offline content) and wouldn't you know it - PROBLEM SOLVED!

I hate a freakin computer!

It just happened to me again but I think its cause I switched over to another browser session that was open before I deleted cache. At least I hope.

If you all remember there was a melt down at the server farm just before xmas, they fixed after a day, but now you have t resave your book marks to make it work good again.

There was a thread about it when it happened, but I thought all figured it out as there have been no questions about it, I am sorry I guess i should have made a sticky about it at the time.

Reminds me of a story I recently read...

Last night, my kids and I were sitting in the living room and I said to them, 'I never want to live in a vegetative state, dependent on some machine and fluids from a bottle. If that ever happens, just pull the plug.'

They got up, unplugged the computer, and threw out my beer.

Yeah yeah, if you weren't smooching with that 225 so often maybe you would have made the sticky.
