Looks decent, figured with the talks lately of members wanting bigger. And has a good powerplant on it as well, 98 YAMAHA 250 OX66.

I dunno. I do fine with a single 260 I/O in mine. I top out at 38 mph per my Garmin. Doubles would cost too much for me between spring commisioning, fuel and winterization.

The 250's are only rated for 300HP max in outboards or 260HP I/O's. They are built on a 16 degree dead-rsie hull instead of the 20 that the V-20 has. It let's them plane easier and run with less HP, the trade-off is they don't cut the waves as easily. WELLCRAFT counteracted the lack of dead-rise by giving them a sharp entry in the bow and LOTS of weight. They are heavy for a 25 footer, SKOOLS has said that his 248 weighs CONSIDEREABLY more than his 250 SEARAY. You can tell by the ride in them they have some weight as they tend to push through the waves instead of bouncing over them.
