Default Anybody Towing with an Envoy or Trailblazer

I have to sell my F-150 and buy an SUV because I need more seating. I really like the GMC Envoy and it looks like it has enough capacity to tow the V-20, Wondering if any of you guys hve experience with these trucks?

I have a buddy with the TrailBlazer towing a 22 Seahunt. They love the truck. It's what I'd buy if I needed a midsize SUV today.

Just got rid of my Envoy -(lease was up). I liked it alot and it seemed to be a solid rig. Only towed the V20 a couple times (I rack it now). I was suprised how heavy the boat felt and the gas milage dropped to almost half. Don't know if that's par for the course or not.

I had no problems with it - got a new rig for significantly less $ and better warranty now. I think you'll like it.

I use to tow with a 1994 Blazer with the 4.3 Vortec, towed fine!
But I had 4x4 and it helped a lot on the ramps!! If not 4x4 might be tuff on the ramps?
Had to hold break give a lot of gas and then let go, as not to roll back.

Not the beast choice of a vehicle, but very doable!!

More then a few here use Jeeps and they are doing ok?
