thanks for the link, BS. glad everyone is ok. at first, I didn't even recognize it as a V looked more like a airslot until it turned sideways.

I bet those kids have some stories to tell at school

Good to see that the V20 kept them safe and sound during their emergency.

I cannot help but wonder why the dad didn't have more than one radio and means of recharging his phone while at sea. Safety means you ALWAYS have redundancy in you safety equipment. 2 or more fire extinguishers. 2 or more radios. 2 or more bilge pumps. 2 or more signaling packs. etc, etc. You get the idea. The time to find out that you need something is NOT in the middle of the ocean.

I only have one fire extinguisher, BUT I have three radios and I never go out alone so there are two lol phones plus a bailing bucket a mirror a orange rag ( big) plus flares and about 20 old flares just in case , I'm very happy it ended well ,that father must have been very scared cause he had his two kids with him, always go prepared and tell someone what time you should be back,,always and were you are heading or fishing area ,,,,, love the wellcraft....

That's a good story. Glad everything turned out ok! I got a box of old flares, all new handheld and 12 ga. flares, two fire extinguishers marine radio and other stuff. Still always let the wife know where I am and when I'm coming back. I do go out alone sometimes but theres always somebody on the river.
