A group 24 starting battery should be MORE than enough for starting that engine.

Thanks that's what I have been using not sure if I should have went up to a group 27 but I agree with you, why do I need the added weight, I don't thanks

You should not need more than a group 24. Also keep in mind the added weight and size of anything larger. May not fit where you keep battery.

I have the room but I have two battery's back there and didn't want the extra weight If I didn't need it Dual ( starting and deep cycle ) are hard to find in Wally World
