told the wife when we're finished paying off her new minivan i'm taking out a loan for a used boat. figure on 10 or 15 k. this don't look too bad.

i thought we were looking for a small tin boat also.

you could probably save 3-5 grand and buy one when you make your fishing trip to the keys. pick one up in orlando, tampa, miami.

nah spare, the new car should be in the next year or so. we still have about 4+ years on her van. will try to find a skiff or something for next season just to toot around in.

This is just me...I like havin' a full windshield just to be able to use it longer during the year...and that's down here in SC...I'd sure as shootin' have one in your neck of the woods...all the difference in the world come cooler weather between scootin' yer a$$ across the water in a CC and behind a windshield...we use my friend's CC in winter sometimes...and he's always GLAD to get in my cuddy for those long winter rides up the river...two guys fishin' can't hide from the cold at 30mph behind a CC...but like I said, that's just me...
