| What hp on your 20

Just curious, what HP do some of you have on your boats? I am now running a 225hp Yamaha OX66 on mine, this is my third on my 87. I noticed that it is riding lower at the stern with this motor than the first one I originally had, a 1986 Suzuki 140. Tommy |

When I bought my boat in 1996 as a I/O 165 hp, in 2000 converted to OB via Stainless Marine bracket and 175 Yamaha, then replaced with another 175 Rude and sold it that way in 2007

			I've owned a couple and fished in several more; 1972 with a 1973 135 Johnson = 36 mph 1983 with a 1983 150 Johnson = 45 mph 1972 with a 1972 85 Johnson = 28 mph 1977 with a 1982 200 Evinrude = 49 mph a fishing buddy had a 1977 model with twin 70 evinrudes, and I never saw it make more than about 34 mph but it was a nice running boat. |
