New to these boats, have heard and read lot's of good things about what can be done with the V Step 20 Hull. I have a few questions, I checked the old catalogs posted here but could get it clear in my mind.

Is the same hull design used on the V Step 20 also used on the 230's, 240's & 250's?

What is the difference between the Coastal models and the Sportsman models?

The "stepped" hull design of the V20 did carry over to the lager Wellcraft boats you mention...I equate "Coastal" w/the Offshore which has smaller cuddy and less amenities...the sportsman has a much roomier cabin w/lots of creature comforts...I want a 248 Offshore so bad I can TASTE it, but cannot have...such is the life of one w/kids in college...
