Default Rod and Tackle Storage Solutions

This box will replace the back to back seats. I'll put a cushion for a 134qt cooler on top and a couple of rod holders on the side. The top is removeable so I don't lose any space behind the tackle drawers. I'll stick things behind there that I won't use regularly.

The link is a pic of the rodholders on the splashwell divider. I added about 7" of starboard to the existing piece. Don't know why it posted differently than the others.

So the door openings to the cabinets will be toward the center of the boat?

Yes, drawers will open in, towards the center of the boat. Just finished glueing and screwing. Box was just fitted together for pics. I'll sand and prep for finishing w/ screws in place. Once it's finished, I'll remove screws and bolt it together. The only ? I still have is what to use to keep the wood off the deck. Some type of bumper. The seat is mounted tight to the deck and holds water. I want to avoid that. I'm a few days away from installation anyway so I've got time to think on it.

use starboard as a washer to elevate enough to drain.
