Default HIN help - new member

A buddy has a Wellcraft that appears similar to the ones on this site, here's the HIN:

WEL01405M75D-20F

It's a center console with a wide flair. How do I post pictures of it on this site for purposes of selling it? Thanks

Go to "How To" and "How to Post Pictures".
stick them in "For Sale or Wanted".
Looks like a "75 Fisherman.
*Don't forget location.
Also motor type and horsepower.
Serial number of motor may be helpful if year isn't known.

I don't know much about this boat except it's in my backyard. It belonged to my fishing/diving buddies ex-tenant who abandoned it and moved to Colorado. I can look for the serial number for the motor if anyone is interested. I was told it runs. I will also find out it there is a title to the boat/trailer.

The transom looks to have been rigged with a thick sheet of aluminum, and the forward casting deck at the bow is soft. Deck also has areas of softness.

He wants to sell it so I guess if anyone is interested let me know. He has a 21 Proline WA and I have a 25 Mako CC that we fish/dive off of so proceeds from this will probably go towards gear. Thanks

Chiung,

Try moving this to the For Sale section; you'll get more traffic there.

Hull looks really clean till you get to the transom. That looks pretty rough. That coupled with the soft areas on the deck and the other odds and ends that need attention equals a lot of work for somebody. All that to say that I don't think you'll get much for this boat. Plus, those boats are quite plentiful down there in FL.

If you're simply after the most money you can get and if you have the time, you could part it out and sell the motor, hull, top, and trailer all separate. If not, I'm sorry to say that you won't bring in much.

Transom is waisted, soft floors. :-/ :-/ :-/ Franco's offer may not be bad at all. Major work and cash for a new transom and deck. Find out if the motor does run, what size shaft motor, I might be interested in the motor.
Good to see Franco looking at V's again. ;)

If not parting out, it would be almost impossible to register in florida without a clean title.
