Cy, I'm a little worried about this one. Coastal flooding predicted at 7.5 above MLW. Thats about the same as Ernesto and winds to 50 NE pushing it. Busy at work for the whole weekend it looks like. Have to kill some fish next week I hope.

yeah Slot, I am going to put on the rain gear and go check on mine a couple of times. Where my marina is is open to the NE winds, they sweep across the open bay and by the time it reaches the boat the fetch can get pretty bad. :-/

To all the Delmarva boys, I hope all is well. Looks like the tide station at Wachacantaspellit has topped out at 7.22' above mlw. I don't think that the water was done rising, just think it don't read any higher. Probably see our worst tommorrow around 10am as far as tides. Hope we don;t have a bunch of damage but I already no of a few cars and boats that are toast.

Working the night shift. High winds and flooding in town. Local boat ramp is totally flooded out.
Stopped home to check on my bim top and see if she was still in one piece. I wouldnt have to worry as much if I had a FULL ENCLOSURE !! HINT, HINT ;D ;D ;D ;D

Hey Hammer,

Maybe you should make a super sad movie, sort of like M.J.'s. Maybe then somebody will feel sorry for you and give you the enclosure. Then again, don't do that. One depressing movie is enough for this forum. ;D

Well, it appears that it's not going to be all that bad. The winds are still honkin but the waters not as high as I was worried about. OF course, it's still 2-3 hours from high tide here.

went through high tide this morning, but high tide does not matter much here. the winds out of the east always hold the tide in the bay. so once it gets so high it never goes back down.

the boat is handling it good. went over last night and added another line. she'll be fine, she saw a lot worse when Ernesto came through here.
