there is a small beach/island only accessible

by boat about 40 minutes run from the dock. we piled the family (my wife & me, 2 boys & my parents) in the V. packed lunch, raft, seine net and others neccesities and off we went. double anchored in about a foot and a half of water and made the trek to the sand. when we were pulling in the was a V anchored in about 10 feet of water about 30 foot off the beach. brown/tan bimini top and a yamaha v-max on the back. one of the several near me. wife and me dragged the net a couple times and got enough bait to go to one of the local reefs for fluke and seabass. all in all, a perfect day. i will try to remember the camera today as my wife is against taking fish under 5 pounds. the best part about short beach yesterday, my 5 year old goes, "look sunglasses". a beautiful pair of maui jims half buried in the sand. they had to be there for a couple tides as it was outgoing and they were still half buried. not a scratch on them and they look great on my wife.
