Default Production years

What was the last year Wellcraft made a V20 or V21?
Not including any current models.

Thanks Bill Mc

Well, the V21, as it was last called, finished production in '96 I believe. Even though the new models are called V21's, the hull is not true to it's lineage.

Thanks for the info. I'm looking to move up to a V20 from my 16 foot Gruman Center Console. My interest in the V20 began back in 1987. At that time I could not afford one. Thanks again Bill McIntyre

Wecome Mac, Good luck in your search. There are a great many out there. Take your time and you will find one that is right for you.

Where are you located and how do you intend to use it?

Mac, the last year for the center console or "fisherman " was 1994. As Seakindly has stated , take your time and find a good one . They are out there.

I live in St. Clair Shoes Michigan. The boat will be used on Lake Erie, western basin, walleye fishing. Is there anything that I should be aware of when looking at the V20s or V21s?

Thanks Bill McIntyre

Make sure that the transom is not soft. Water tends to get inside and rots the wood .
