Default Please dont be the water pump!

I like to start the boat on the muffs if it has been sitting for a couple days and I am going to take her out, this way I dont have to start ruff in the morning. Usually it takes about 30seconds and the water starts to drip, then flow out of the spitt. Today it took longer, and then it never really flowed but sort of spirted every few seconds. I let it run for about a minute and nothing changed and the exsoust seemed to be a litle more smokey then normal.
I am hopeing it is just the water preasure from the hose :-/ and going to take her out 1st thing in the morning.
Please tell me it is probably just the water preasure and I will be all set in the morning ;D
Thanks for any input.

Could be the water?? Or it might be something stuck in the tube and not allowing the water to flow good??

But a good test will be for you to back the motor in the water and start it, this way you have pleanty of water to race it up and see if you can blow it out.

Take the pisser off the hose and see if it flows better?

If still the same then I would say the water pump is going and if you go out go slow!!

Its not a hard job to do get all the stuff and like 1 or 2 hours and you be finished!

I did my Yamaha in 40 min.

Its not the end of the world!!

I ran aground once and the pisser stopped flowing. When I got in and flusher the motor I sprayed water back into the pisser and then started and it flowed just fine ever since.

It can be quite worrysome when the pisser stops up.

Was it cooler than normal? Your thermostats are probably 158 degrees and they may not have opened fully. Just a thought. When you gave her gas did the flow increase?
