Default Got my 88' Dually back from the shop today........

She was running rough on the shakedown cruise two weekends ago. a couple of magnets on my flywheel had come unglued. Very lucky I didn't screw up my magneto (BTY, this is an 88' 175 Johnson). They cleaned it off and reepoxied them back on. Throw in three carb kits and a repaired valve seat and she runs like a top. Total bill was a tad over $400. It will be Saturday before I get her back in the water.

Also, when I put the new steering cable in I went ahead and installed the NFB system. Its really nice to be able to let go of the sheel for a second and have her keep tracking straight. OK, so its not hydraulic, but it works great for a cheap a$$ like me. Thanks to all of you who recommended Boatstoreusa. Good prices and good people. Hopefully I will remember to take pics on the water this weekend.

Maury
