I have never seen a Hummingbird I like!! Thats all I know!
You can't go wrong with Garmin!! But I like separate units.

I thought that would be the case. I've narrowed it down then to Garmin and lowrance. Now just a matter of most bang for my buck.

i have always prefered lowrance myself. but, that new side scan sonar is tha shizzle my nizzle!

Humminbird has everything under the sun, side view,dual transducer,weather alert, spit screen, temperature,speed,time and date,everything any GPS can do,besides the complete sonar customizes to suit you.
I have one of the first Matrix that came out in B&W with no map, it has everything above except the side view. A lot of people turn their noses up at them but 7 boats between me and my father have not had any problems with them, even at 30 mph reading.
