Default 1984 V20 Cuddy Windshield Struts/mounts

Anyone have suggestions as to where I can purchase replacement ball mounts for my V20? Had one break over the winter and the other side doesn't look great. I saw at West Marine where I can get a ball stud but my bracket cracked in two. It's the ball mount that attaches the windshield strut to the cabin. Also, thoughts where can I get a replacement strut?

Thanks

i replaced both of mine several years ago with the ones from West Marine. they came with the brackets. Was not an exact fit, but been working great for years.

I replaced mine years ago and the size I needed was hard to get
So just for back up I made my own, I used 7/8 s.s rail cut to size and got fittings from searching Bimini fittings. They should and will be better than new
But the only advice I will give you is that when you are screwing in the screws that hold the base to the windshield frame be very very careful. I used the wrong lenght screws and cracked the glass. It's been replaced but be careful.

I would love to find the pieces that screw directly to the windshield with the black plastic gasket as mentioned above. Anyone?? Of course, this is for the V-21

Can you clean those up, or make some new ones out of Starboard or some marine aluminum or even steel with some really good paint or get them galvanized? They look pretty small and simple - could at least use the existing ones as templates.

Scott I want to keep this boat as original as possible. Both ends have "teeth" that once adjusted keep the supports engaged if you will.
