Default Math question

2.6 oz is 50-1. So 2.6 oz times 10 gallons is 26 ozs?
So 26 ozs times 56 gallons. Should be about 156 ozs? Am I right?

I get 143.36.

128 oz in a gallon/ 50 = 2.56 oz per gallon.

2.56 oz per gallon X 56 gallons = 143.36 oz for 56 gallons.

143.36 oz/ 32 oz per qt = 4.48 qts for your 56 gallons of gas. I’d say throw in 4 1/2 qts and go fishing.

Or you could use 1 qt for every 12 1/2 gallons if you’re just topping up the tank.

No guarantee, but I never missed ordering the right amount of concrete to fill the forms we built and usually heard rocks rattling in the readymix truck when we were done pouring.

Glad you’re enjoying the boat. Mine’s sitting waiting for me to get back to it, and also for some fish to return to the area so it’s worth the gas to go out.

Cool

Both my V21 an my V20 are just sitting on their trailers because of the gas mess. I'm putting my Airslot 16.5 back in operating shape. The 110 Force engine runs fine so far, and I have a remote 30 HP Johnson that I may strap on instead. I don't need to go fast, I just need to get to Sandy Hook. (Even the cost of towing is becoming a factor. I still have my Durango with the 5.7L hemi engine, but I'm using my 2002 Xterra w/Supercharger that gets almost twice the mileage as the Durango). (about 20 MPG) I'm thinking that a 75 HP four stroke will be perfect for the Airslot. I just need to find one at a good cost.

I put in 128 ozs ( 1 gallon) plus 24 ozs. ---- 152 ozs for 56 gallon tank. I think that's pretty close to perfect , I hope
Destroyer, I store my boat in Atlantic highlands marina cause I have a Tundra 5.7 also and now I just drive to the marina. Hook up and drop her in. Much better and safer than towing her 70 miles.
Gas is killing us. But let's hope the 2022 elections flip, I don't want to go political here but I just heard if the republicans get in (and I hope they do) the first thing they said they will do is bring down gas prices and make us energy indipendant again. I hope so cause this is killing the working man . Sorry about going political but gas is hurting us all. I would try to find a storage yard for your boat close to where you laught out of.
Hey scook. You really did your homework. Thanks scook . I don't think spareparts could do a better job lol.

Not sure if they (Republicans) can bring down gas prices. Biden used Executive orders to create this mess. I don't know if Congress can override them.
