Default NJ Fishing Report 2021

Saturday 5/15 - Got out early ...18 miles to Shark River reef for opening day Black Sea Bass. Found best bite on top of rock piles 90-105 ft. Limited out 4 guys- 40 fish before 11 am. Then went to the Arundo and caught 60 ling (red hake).... and we caught 2 whiting (silver hake)!!! Bite was on CLAM.

Sunday- later start- went to same place and limited out 3 guys 30 fish before noon...Bite was on CLAM. Went home early.

Nice haul skunk. We used to have a nice sea bass bite in the winter, haven t seen them in a while

Beautiful, I'm missing some BSB bad. Definitely one of my all time favorite to fish for and eat.

Another 3 man limit on BSB today at Shark River Reef. Today they were on wrecks and not on the tops of rockpiles.

No pix...I'm slacking on the camera lately

Nice, our weather has been horrible the last 2 weeks. Every day SE 15-20 mph.

Around here, east is a beast, west is best

We have the skunk stink when it comes to catching tuna this year. Watched other boats catch them on 4 trips.

But FYI, there are bluefins at Humpty Dumpty/Little Italy. Less than 20 miles from Manasquan. Well in range of V20s

All you need is a good day which has been very hard to come by this season
