Default Haven't gone out but

As for 99% of us this season has been a bust. The P/B here are finally going out again and doing pretty good, reservations a must, $80 and up. The Flamingo, the Brooklyn (Hunter), cocktail Blues and the Marilyn Jean, Porgy's and Ling. My friends have taken their boat out twice with no results. Lloyd called me last night and asked me where the Tin Can Grounds were I told him, then asked, what's is biting there now besides Porgy's? Lloyd told me that the Porgy's are in town and are there big time. If any of you guy's can get out there and like Porgy's, the Tin Can Grounds is the place to be. Nice big Humpbacks are being caught, all you want, filling coolers, along with a mixture of, Blues, Fluke, Stripers and even some some those Gold Bars Weak fish when they show up. I know this seems boring, but needed to put up something.

Thanks for waking up the fishing section, G. I haven t been much lately either. Working on the house still, daughter got married last week, and of course, the weather has been beautiful. Hopefully July will be better. I did manage to go on a snapper trip on the 11th on a friends boat. We had to really hunt to find any fish, finally hit a honey hole and got some decent size snapper. I think round trip it was about 140 miles total, way too much travel for 14 fish. Good news was he has a 38 ft center console with trip 400s, so we made real good time.

All we needed was a Bacon Bagel to top off the day

Phat, CONGRATULATIONS on your daughters wedding!!! That's what I will be making for breakfast for tomorrow. It's no Knapp Street Deli bagel made by Sam or Siead, but it'll have to do. A toasted, buttered everything bagel with 45 lbs of soft bacon, some times with cheese. The next time you head out fishing get one, It'll be a great start to the day.
BE CAREFUL and BE SAFE
