Default Kill Switch install

Hey guys,

I'm trying to install a kill switch on a 2000 J200CXSSE Johnson. I wanted to know which ignition wires I should splice the switch into? The switch is a toggle and has "off" and "on". There's a red and a black wire coming from the switch.

Thanks

black and black yellow, it should have continuity when the lanyard is pulled. Its like a lawn mower, you have to ground the circuit to shut it off
