Default Flex seal Tape

Running when it’s blowing with heavy spray and water can spritz under the front canvas.
The wide flex seal tape sticks even when wet and with some effort peels off completely too.
It’s expensive stuff but at about 4” wide can really block those spots . I believe now avail as clear besides white or black . Useful to keep on board just in case.

I bought some to cover a small hole on the side of my cabin. It was raining that day. I seen the commercial where he slaps the tape over the hole with water gushing out but I figured I should dry it off first. Wiped it dry and stuck it on and it fell right off. It was still sticky but would not stick to the boat. I don’t know if I got a bad roll or what but I was highly disappointed.

I found it doesn’t stick to everything - but sure did from glass window, aluminum windshield and clear plastic where I needed it .

I am pretty sure that it will not stick well to a waxed surface. Clean the wax off that spot and it should stick just fine.

Sticks well to waxed surfaces - just doesn’t stick to all surfaces.
