V20/V21 cap compatibility

So I’m compiling supplies to put new stringers, transom and floor in the V-21 hull I have for the center console conversion. I locally located an early 70’s flat cap center console junk hull. Pretty much stripped of everything and rotted to the core. But the cap has sparked my interest. Anyone know if the cap will fit on the V-21’s hull? I know the stern area is different with the 21 having the set back motor but I can work with that, just wondering if the hulls are the same from the stern forward.
