Default 05.04.2018 - Opening day for Fluke

Well Joe and I went out on opening day on his skiff the MoJoe, we took home two nice Fluke, well Joe's was great and mine was ok. My Fluke was exactly 19", Joe's was 23 1/2" and 4.4 lbs, nice fish. But as usual my first fish caught was a Sea Robin or as we call them Rockin' Robins, so that made me the Rocker Queen for the day with two. It was great to be back on the water with a good friend, Joe thanks again for the invite and it was a fun day as you will see in the video.
The dock for the Wellcraft still needs to be fixed, hopefully maybe two more weeks.

All right, the boys are back. Looks like a successful shake down cruise. I am sure thats the first of many to come this season.

Nice job, G

Jamaica Bay. I think New Jersey opens up on May 25th? By that time the big ones will have spread out all over. Right now they are stacked up in the back of the bay. Getting nice reports of fish up to 10lbs, but that isn't going to last. Hoping to get out tomorrow.
