Last week, my wife and I went on a 5 day Cruise to Grand Cayman and Cozumel to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary, which was almost 3 years ago.
I promised in one of the cold weather threads to soak up some warm sun for you guys while I was there so here are some pics of me doing so. We flew out of Raleigh to Tampa, was 40 and raining when we left. ![]() After a day at sea we went to Grand Cayman...a very nice place to visit if you have never been. They don't have a cruise ship port there so you are tendered in to the island. \ ![]() ![]() ![]() The water 400 yards off the beach is almost 300 feet, the ships just float while the tenders move people, every once in a while you see the thrusters come on to keep the ships close to the same spot but they are not anchored. ![]() We toured the island by bus on the way to and from some caverns, they were very interesting. ![]() ![]() Next stop was Cozumel where they do have docks for the ships. ![]() Everyone finding their excursion guides. ![]() We rode in a taxi/van to tour the Mayan Ruins and around the island. ![]() ![]() The side of the Cozumel away from the city has no water or power. ![]() But they do have a bar. ![]() View from the bar. ![]() ![]() 5 o'clock ![]() It was a lovely cruise.
