Default Openning Day

The MoJoe skiff was at it again today, searching for Fluke, with better weather. We started at the Cross Bay Bridge, back around by Canarsie and all we had to show for it was five shorts, with the biggest being caught by Joe and that was 18 1/4 inches. Joe had three shorts, I had two with a 17 3/4 and of course I can't forget those Rockin' Robins, which I had two of and Joe 0.

Down here in Jersey I believe our new reg is 3 fish at 18"

It must have felt good to get out ! Some of my best fishing days for Bass were in Jamaica bay, it used to be incredible !

BGREENE, nope sorry to say your regs are the same 3 @19". Did anyone of you guy's/ladies go out on your opening day and if you did, how did you do?

Giorgio - this is the most recent regulation I found for New Jersey Fluke limits:

On May 18, 2017, NJDEP Commissioner Bob Martin approved the following measures for NJ's recreational summer flounder fishery:
For all NJ coastal waters:
18-inch minimum size limit
3-fish possession limit
Open season May 25 through September 5

What will it be now ...1/2 a fish ...or maybe 1 fish at 30" to kill all fishing
