Default Drain holes in transom

Any suggestions on repairing the drain holes that go through the transom? It looks like originally there were copper tubes on either side, but they are eroding and starting to show the wood in the transom. Would new copper tubes and 5200 do the job or is there a better fix to avoid water getting into the transom. Any feedback would be appreciated.

Erik, I replaced the scuppers in my 1987 cuddy. I used a wooden dowel ( 1 inch I think) to drive the brass original ones out. then I replaced them with plastic scuppers and 5200 to seal them. I had a hard time finding ones long enough to fit the transom thickness. It turned out that ones from T-H marine (the manufacturer) were the only ones that would work. It seems that they were 3 1/4" long. They make 2 sizes.

In my search I discovered you could use brass scuppers, but you needed a tool to swage (flare the end) after it was pushed through the hole. It seems like the tool was maybe $25 and the plastic ones that I found were substantial enough to make me comfortable enough with them. Hope that helps out.

I drove the old brass ones out and put plastic replacements in the same holes. I used 5200 to seal up around the new plastic tubes. Van't remember where I purchased them. Wholesale marine or maybe Defenders?

Thank you guys for the quick reply and the point in the right direction. I opted to get brass replacements and sprung for the 20 dollar flare tool all from Amazon. Im planning on doing the dreaded deck and stringer rebuild in the near future and the tool will probably come in handy to do the drain tubes that run through the stringer as well.
