Default Oil in transom

2003 Evinrude 175 burns lots of oil and has some oil collecting in transom

I'd say your oil tank/tubing is leaking...

X2... Agreed. It's a 2 stroke, no crankcase to hold oil, so it has to be coming from some other place. Most likely the tubing IMHO.

That would be a good scenario. It will be out if the water on a trailer in a week. Hopefully that will shed some light.

Is it smoking a lot?
Is it oil injection, does it have a tank you put the oil in More info is needed at this time

Oil tank under console. Smokes when I take off a pretty good bit, but not while running. Haven't been fishing, but seems like it might smoke more at trolling speed.

Oil tank is under console but you must have hoses that run to the engine, that the only way I can see why oil is in the bilge, Check the hoses and connection on the engine See w
