big difference, we just covered it in another thread(cant remeber what it was called), but look on line, I think ebasicpower.com and Jamestown distributors had the best price. Use A! for inboard/sterndrives. B1 for outboards

Auto fuel line is not USCG APPROVE, and you risk a fire and liability in your boat. Marine fuel supply line is has reinforce steel, impregnated into IT.(like a radial tire). Fuel vent line i believe is not, but that is also USCG approved. New fuel line from tank to engine does not appear to be USCG APPROVED, JUST EPA for the ethanol fuel. hope this helps,

There is no steel impregnated into it. I've got plenty out in the shop I can go cut and take a pic of for you. It does have an extra layer of rubber, and normally a layer of nylon between them for fire protection.

Search ebasicpower for "fuel hose" and click "Fuel/Feed Vent Hose" near the bottom left on the page. When I checked a while back, it was about half the price the want at West Marine.

Those are yes, but that is to prevent it from kinking in the bends.
