Default Free bimini to good home

Hi All,

I just bought my first V (love it) and am in the process of fitting it out. I plan on adding a four bow bimini over the winter so the old three bow unit has to go. Its free to anyone that wants it on a first come, first served basis that can pick it up in Rockland county NY. It also comes with a rear curtain (but no side curtains).

Best,
John

Welcome to the family and KUDOS for starting out with such style... we LOVE free stuff here....

Just a thought, if someone had a frame and needed the fabric it would be easily shipped.

Keep us updated with LOTS of pics as you progress with your project.

Thanks for your kind words Kevin. I have only had the V for a month now and already these forums have been invaluable. Thank you all for your contributions and willingness to share.

Bottomfish - sounds good. I sent you a PM.

Best,
John

Hi bgreene,

It has a '95 200hp Merc Xri on it (efi and premix).

Its great except that it loses power for a minute or so about 10 minutes into each day. Then its fine for the rest of the day. The loss comes and goes like a toggle switch. I replaced the filters, rebuilt the low pressure fuel pump and checked the fuel rail pressure while it was failing but the pressure was good. I'm now thinking its an ignition/ECU issue that happens when its in the process of fully warming up. I'll probably take it to a mechanic after the season is over as I'm not geared up to troubleshoot all of the ECU sensors etc. Still, its real strong other than that morning blip and cruses 35 no problem. Tops out just over 50.

Local fishing is mostly the Hudson River above the TZ bridge and the LI sound around Norwalk - although I put it in by my friends place in Perth Amboy too some times. Bigger trips are usually to Lake George (last weekend), Cape Cod (next weekend) and 1000 islands, Georgian Bay or southern Ontario in the late spring. I'm really enjoying the added range and stability over my old Manatee...
