I made my new one of 1/4" white starboard...
 The original was tired and gauges didn't work  Decided early on to make a cardboard mock-up so to be sure got it all positioned properly...the cardboard is the red material  Made sure it all fit into the console as well...including in-dash mounting of the SONAR/GPS Combo  And finally cut the starboard out...all the preplanning paid off...fit like a glove and everything worked...
