Default critique my repair idea

I am using the old interior skin from the transom to hold in the arjay that I pour for my new transom. I have some roven woven and I was going to use that to tab in the skin in the bilge. I wanted to use that instead of my 1708, so I wouldn't run short. I figure the roven should work, since I am using arjay and I won't have to worry about moisture seepage due to using just the roven woven.

Another quick question, according to my source of resin it is suppose to be orthotropic which should give me months time of a window to lay down another layer with out sanding and provide a chemical bond more so than a mechanical bond. Given that, would like to roll get coat in the areas that will be seen with lifting hatches and all. I don't plan on putting any gel in the other areas to save time. Will that cause a problem is the surface isn't cured on the other areas because I didn't add wax?
