Default Insta-trim boat levelers

Has anyone seen or used these tabs? They're about half the price of lenco and Bennett and I was wondering why and if they are reliable.

for that price I'd buy a set just to test them. In my opinion, trim tabs are a technology that has been developed so long ago that it shouldn't cost a lot of money to make a set. That stuff if probably made in china.

I have them on my V. I think a lot of the V's came from the factory with these installed. I know the original owner and he claims the boat came with them as an option .They work great and they make a HUGE difference in handling.

Insta-Trim? If they were good enough for Wellcraft I guess they're good enough for me. Just worried maybe there was a reason they were less than $350.

awthacker im not trying to highjack your thread. I was wondering if a 9x12 bennet is to small for our v20's? I can get some some used that size cheap but bennets website says they would be to small.

9 x 12 is the size insta-trim is recommending for 20-25 foot boats, so it's what I was considering

Default Not sure

I have used the 9x12 auto trim tabs on several 20' & 22' starcraft aluninim boats I have rebuilt in the past. with great results , but due to weight and power I would contact a dealer for there advise just my 2 cents

This is the only size that's really reduced (on this page)...looks like it'd work good on our Vs...yeah for $400, I'd give 'em a try...on the other hand, Spare gotme a used set of Bennets for $250 that were GREAT!!...sadly, they went out the driveway on the 21...plus I don't think a deal like that's gonna come along very often...
