Wow, that is beautiful. What do you think of the engines? Also, what year is this, do you know? SeaVeeII hull or no?

I think this is one of the new style GRADY hulls. It sure is a pretty boat, and a good price. The engines on it are argueably some of OMC's most reliable engines EVER built, but are also some of there THIRSTIEST engines ever built. Thos things drank about the same amount of fuel at a 4000RPM cruise as a 225 did at 3800(roughly 10-12 gallons per hour). Most overlooked the fuel burn since they are die hard reliable, and the only real downfall to them is the optic sensor for the timing pickup. She sure looks like a boat worth repowering with some DFI's, or a single 225 YAMAHA 4 stroke.

Talked to him, had no idea what a SeaVII Hull was, said I was the second guy to ask him.
You called it CB, it is a 87 hull. Nicely kept. But not the hull I would want.

So an '87 is not the SeaV ll hull.
I'll find something else to mess with your head.

I was gonna say, it has the same blue cloth interior that my 1989 had which was not a SeeV2.

Still was a great boat, but they say the SeeV2 is much better.

My brother in law had a 90 or 91 GW Gulfstream with a single 225 or 250? on a bracket. It is the biggest heaviest 23 footer I've ever seen. One of the first things he had to do was remove and clean the tanks. Still never did figure out a fuel restriction problem. Out of no where it would cut out....and when it did you'd better be holding on. Happened one time when my good buddy Slick was not holding on or paying attention and hurled him into the panel next to the cabin door sideways, nearly ripping his ear off his head. I was the first on the scene, BEFORE the blood started. It was a nasty cut right on the back of the ear where it attaches to your head. Luckily - that spot didn't even require stickes cause the ear held it closed. We still called it a day and headed in.

Ahhhh, memories....
