After my alarm has been sounding, we got the main gas tank filled and put a new fuel water seperator on, but coming from the engine to the fuel filter. someone installed a small tank and put a after market blue fuel line with a clip on hand pump bulb, so i had to reroute the fuel line from the engine to the fuel filter in order to use my main gas tank. my question is should their be a brass fitting with the clip on hand pump bulb or should the fuel line go to the hand pump bulb with out the brass fitting>?
Or do i even need the hand pump bulb? is this why i am getting fuel restriction alarm? it seems to come on when the engine warms up and i rev the engine. here is a pic of the fitting that i am talking about.
