| Trailer Brakes

Finally pulled trailer wheels and hubs apart to replace brake shoes and general clean up. I need to bleed the brake lines. Any good ideas on how? I assume I will need to use vacuum to pull the fluid thru the lines. Thanks for the help.

Well if you haven't figured it out already... I have an electric solenoid on mine that releases the pressure when the truck is in reverse. I plugged my Mighty Vac tool which can also create pressure into the overflow hose for the solenoid and presssurized the reservoir. Then I just had to go around and crack each bleeder on the calipers. I had to repressurize the reservoir severla times but it was an easy one man job. |
