1983 248 Sportsman

Hey guys wasn't sure where to post this but I have a question. I am thinking about taking a look at a 248 sportsman. It will take a little work but for the right price I am thinking about picking it up. Anything I should be concerned about? Are they solid boats? It will be used for fishing the Chesapeake?
