i'd make it a solid transom with twins bracket and hang a pair of 250 Yamaha's on her. That HIN number is actually a MXX made by
TRUE WORLD MARINE 120 INDUSTRIAL AVE LITTLE FERRY, NJ http://www.uscgboating.org/recalls/m...il.aspx?id=MXX

Already been looking at those old True World 28ft cc hulls. Some guy has a couple of the old '81 models on eBay almost all the time. Had one recently with twin Yamaha 130's (underpowered IMO) for $6500 without trailer. True World used to be called Master Marine.
The entry on those CC's is unbelievably sharp. Gotta be one of the smoothest riding hulls in its class - bar none. If I ever get my life straightened out.... ::) Blue
